  • Hobgoblin recipe

    Hi fellow brewers,

Has anyone got a tried and tested Hobgoblin recipe? Orvy's recipe seems to be a favourite and I was wondering if anyone tried it before?

    Cheers!

In short, no. I did find three recipes though. One Orfy's Hobgoblin Clone, if that is what you meant, and Wycwood Hobgoblin x2.
Below are the two Wychwoods. Hopefully it might make the decision easier when chosing a recipe.
“Can You Brew It recipe for Wychwood Hobgoblin
All recipes are (unless otherwise specified): 6 gallons post-boil, 70% efficiency, Morey for color, 15% evaporation, 7.27 gallons preboil, Rager IBU, and most hops are in grams not ounces. Most, if not all recipes are primary only (no secondary).

Just a quick reminder that all of this information is possible because of the hard work of Jamil and Tasty. See there is a little info. on the website, at least you know what grains and hops you should be looking for in a recipe.
