Hi all,
Please can someone tell me more about the setup below. I am to help the owner to brew his first beer in it. I think he still needs a fermenter? 531

That is a decent looking setup. It looks like only a HLT, mash tun and boil kettle, so a fermenter is needed.

By the power cable it looks like the system is using a wall outlet. Check the power requirements. If it needs more than 16A / 3kW get and electrician to connect it up.

Send through some more pics if you can.

Looks like the Italian system supplied by the guys in Stellenbosch. Where is this system now? Could probably figure it out if I saw it and yes, needs a fermenter. Know what the capacity is?

I'm intrigued that some guy spends a whack load of dosh on a system but doesn't know about brewing beer.

Thanx for all interested an willing to help. I know the guy at Unisa very well. They just got the setup. No ingredients or starter kit.

It doesn't look like the kind of system which includes a starter kit. I think the assumption when selling a system like that is that buyer knows what they want and what to do with it.

Have you figured out what the batch size for the system is?

Nope, I haven't seen the setup myself yet so I cannot say.
It's a bit far from me.
