Slainthe Blarg - Ramblings of a Self-confessed Brewer

Is no-one else going to create a blog?

Personally, it is interesting to read about other folks' "comings and goings", especially in the world of brewing, so now that Simon has re-enabled the Blogs page, I would like to see more of us getting involved.

Blog postings don't have to be in-depth, or show detail to the "n-th degree" about something, and, in fact, should be more used like an online diary rather than a blow-for-blow account of an event.

And who cares if your blog is written in Hindustani, so long as you understand it or might be able to offer a translation service for the rest of us.

I started a personal blog some years ago, at the persistence of a cousin who was big into blogging in the early days and, although I haven't kept that up to date for some time, I met some really nice people from around the world who shared views and experiences they had had in whatever topic I had written about.

And, let's face it, we all have a common passion or else we would not be on this forum in the first place. So why not create a blog, post something now and then, and let others comment (if required)? Who knows, you too could meet some more interesting folk.

We usually have time while the grains are mashing, or the boil is on the go, so there is time to write something...

I have my own site and every year (since 2001) I have had plans to make it work properly. So far it has had 3 versions and they all suck!

Once I get it working I will post. I want to add a few things on there that I have learnt that are useful to South African Home Brewers.

I would prefer to keep my ramblings on "my" terms. My data is then available to me and I can remove or add as I see fit.
