    Centa 2kg CO2 Fire Extinguisher


    Hi,

    Sorry for all the kegging questions.

    But does anyone know if a regulator will fit on this type of extiguiser?

    As far as I am aware, all CO2 extinguishers have the same outlet size and thread pitch.

    +1 ( in ZAR AFAIK) Usually when you buy those pressure hoses for sodastream online, they dont fit our cylinders, but you do get adaptors that converts to the right thread for ZAR use

    Not really. I have a 5kg cylinder that has a valve with a completly different thread and will not take my regulator.

    But you can always get the valve replaced

    That's strange. Both my 5KG with the tap valve and the 2kg with the squeeze handle have the same thread size and pitch.
    The guys at Midrand Fire Services also told me they should be the same, it's apparently a mandatory standard?

    check the sticker on the cylinder...........might have been a powder extinguisher.........
