Made somemore progress today,...cleaned and coiled
the copper wire that will suffice as a fin on the inner
    sleeve,..

A heat transfer fin. Then managed to coil it around
    the inner sleeve,..

The condenser sleeve complete and soldered

into mass production. George's PID seems very effective!
Good temperature control at all critical points. Geesh but some

mass production attitude!! The bearded attitude seems to have

Went and got a quote for copper sheeting. For a moment
thought that they were offering me to buy shares
in the company,....,...R669.00 for a sheet .9mm thick
and 500x500mm square. ,... Good grief but no,

Agreed. Just sad to note another age old business no
longer what it used to be. There are other suppliers
though. Some more progress today. Managed to secure
the outlet from the reflux stem into the condenser. Not
a very good result, another learning curve for me. Job still
              requires some attention.,..

Two steps closer at achievement. Found another supplier of
copper sheeting and also stainless steel products. Both seem
                very reasonable.

Now to find a company that does laser jetting.
Got a quote today and it seems we are looking at
R200 mandelas in order to create a flange of the
copper square. The same required for the lid!
                    (stainless)

Gosh but this website hardly leaves one with much time to post.
Been at it again redesigning the wheel.

My problem being finding a seal that will seat both
bucket and lid. Tried everything but alas.

The copper flange remains to be a problem.

Found a source for over center toggle clasps and
                              brass rivets.

Some more progress. Managed to turn the square copper plate
on a lathe and make it round. Also the hole in the lid which was
difficult being stainless steel. The gasket was quick.

                                Getting there slowly.
