  • g coupler pressure relief

Hey guys, so I got a g type coupler and a commercial keg for a party last night.

However the coupler has no pressure relief valve, so with the driving there and probably temp change it probably built up a lot of pressure so when I got to the party, all I got was foam until I think the pressure stabilized.

How do you relief the pressure on them?

Any keg that you transport like that, should sit on ice for ±2Hrs before you pull the first glass

On commercial couplers without prv you could unscrew thr gas intake on the coupler, this have a non returning valve in, a small rubber duckbill thing. Cap the beer out and tap. The co2 will vent.
