    Its interesting looking at malting companies.
    i have the world's biggest malting company that Im doing a project for at the moment. They have tons of sub-brands all over the place.
    In Europe it seems that the malting companies are often owned in co-op by the farmers that produce for them.

        but it's 2021 and malts are modern. do an experiment and boil for 15mins - granted you have to increase your hopload, but it works pretty darn well. i've tried it with a smash pils and was not disappointed. i guess boiling with the lid on will give you a greater chance of diacetyl - i've yet to try purposefully create the off flavor
        Just wanted to make sure with this specific brand.

        Im happy with 30min boils and that's all i've been doing the past year+

          ah feck, i dinae read the post. i use castle malting, i haven't used another base in *checks planetary alignment* ages.

            I actually bought my first lot of Pils and Pale from MaltEurop. Will also give feedback once I get to brewing (which is tomorrow).

              Brewed over the weekend and I was back up to 85% can't blame the malt, only my drunken ass who forgot to stir or did something silly..
              Beer turned out great though.

                That's good news.

                I also got 82.5%(full volume mash) on their Pilsner malt today
