Innis & Gunn is very nice beer. The Rum Cask is excellent, it tastes almost like biting into trifle cake. mmmm

BTW, congrats on the 1000 posts Simon

I have two of these in the fridge, cooling down. They came in the League of Beers mixed box this month. Might have one just now...

The Cisco Brewers "Winter Shredder" in the same box was very hoppy, probably with too much Cascade. Still nice though.

Your last one? That's an awkward situation to be in.

dunno. what defines a particular style really? the grains? the yeast? the hops? i brewed up an ale with all the leftover grains and hops i had in the fridge. flaked barley, aromatic, special b, and some pale grains with magnum, citra and northern brewer hops. fermented with some or other chico strain.

Received my refractometer today. Took 2 months (bought on e bay), but worth the wait. Cheers to that with a porter!

That looks great! One day when I am big I also want one of those. And the refractometer looks nice as well.

                            Enjoy the new toy.
