  • Another Newbie - All Grain and all.

So I finally did what I have been wanting to do for the last 10 years, get into home brewing. I spent a year or so in Aus where some of my colleagues were really into it. I got back here and ordered a kit, just to leave it in the garage and eventually gave it away without using it.

Lockdown hit and I decide perhaps it was time, which I ended up doing, going all in with Grainfather and some extras. Did my first brew a couple of weeks ago, busy bottle conditioning as we speak.. I am looking forward to learning and drinking/tasting a lot.

              Hello.
Jip you did right. Sommer break the bank from word go [emoji16].
Interesting that you mention Aussies and brewing. I'm digging around for kit and a lot of good stuff seems to come from Aus.

I was a bit impatient and cracked open one today, still needs to go a bit, didn’t taste too bad. Hoppy IPA, was a freebie with everything I bought, nogals lekker.

                Already planning my next [emoji3060]

First brew is taking a knock quickly, enjoying it

                    I did my second today

First time I used the corona mill.. seems like it worked great, hit the numbers so I guess thats ok.

This is a clone from a beer I had in Aus, Little Creatures Pale Ale.

                    Hopefully it turns out great!

I adjusted/scaled based on these with what I had:

I also found this from the brewery:
