What will happen if you add it now?

Probably nothing. But I'm still adding a 1.5L starter and that will give me about 19L excluding the fermenter trub. I can add a litre of water but then I'll have to bottle that.

My mashing process was just more efficient today. And I'm too lazy(drunk) now to add the extra water.

when i dry hop, i usually just tie a piece of pantyhose over the tube of the auto siphon when transferring to the bottling bucket. catches all those nasty bits.

            • Brewed 2 beers last weekend, A Blonde Ale and a Rye IPA.
Only have space in my fermentation fridge for one beer at a time so used the no-chill method and have a cube of the Rye IPA waiting. My first time trying this so hopefully it works.
Hopefully next weekend I will be brewing a Belgian Tripel, bottling some Blonde Ale and putting the Rye IPA into the fermenter.

                        • considering i have like half a kg of southern passion, and it's election day, thought i'd cook up an all local ingredient IPA.

                          • I did 2 APA's today. Brewed Brewdog's #170 Hop Fiction and a APA with late additions of Amarillo and Cascade.
